What I love about this one is, just jumping right into the deep end of the pool with the D1T1 opening Playin'...Even though it's actually the first set closer for the 4th, I dont give a shit and its a great way to fire up. Love this release.

The EYES on that release is simply one of the best ever, and this from a guy who thinks 1977 rules in nearly every instance possible.

I always thought that moment was the Bob Weir version of Roger Waters' infamous meltdowns in 1977, specifically the incident in Montreal.

Then there are those earlier Floyd shows where Rog frequently tells people to sit down and be quiet, that the people behind them can't see, etc. I think we hear a similar request from that guy emcee'ing the Dead's set at the Big Rock Pow Wow show on 5/24/69?
